Willis E. Glidden, Sr.

Willis E. Glidden Sr, 84, of Palmer, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at the Life Care Center of Wilbraham in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. Willis was born in Auburn, NH, on November 17, 1938, to Margaret Pauline Eaton and Elwin Raymond Glidden. One of seven children, he grew up on Eton Farm and had many fond memories with his family. He worked in building maintenance, enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, playing cribbage and spending time with his family & friends.

Willis was predeceased by his son, Raymond W Glidden and grandsons, John and Raymond Jr. of Lagrange, ME and daughter, Karen Cotnoir of Enfield, CT. He leaves behind daughter, Kathie Glidden of Enfield, CT and three sons, Willis E. Glidden Jr. and wife Rosann of FL, Michael E. Glidden and wife Barbara of Enfield, CT., Edward B. Glidden and wife Eileen of Wilbraham, MA. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and longtime companion, Carol Venne of Palmer, MA. 

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
