Warren Albert Landry, 71, passed away at home with family on November 27, 2024.

Warren was born in Fitchburg, MA on January 10th, 1953 the third of five children to Ernest Landry and Florence (Leblanc) Landry.

He attended Notre Dame High School and graduated from Fitchburg High School class of 1971. He took some college courses and worked at Oak Hill country club, Crown Tool & Die, and later a family-owned business Harris Tool & Die. His primary occupation was a mold maker.

Warren was a cancer survivor four times. First diagnosed at the age of 24, he was a fighter his whole life and had so much support from family and friends. Unfortunately, his illnesses caused him to have other co-morbidities that left him disabled since 2001, but that did not hold him back completely and he kept busy.

He would attend many of his daughter’s numerous sports activities and visit her at college. He was an avid New England sports fan. He had many hobbies, including gardening, tinkering with small engines, reading conspiracy thrillers, and traveling with loved ones especially to Aruba yearly. He was a proud member of the Montachusett Regional Vocational Tech school committee. He loved cooking, especially with family and at the church barbecues at St. Bernard’s. He loved music, especially 60s and 70s folk and rock ‘n’ roll and blues. He attended concerts with friends and family. One of his favorite things to do was spend time with his three grandchildren.

He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 46 years Barbara (Krapf) Landry and daughter Erika (Landry) Goliber. Son-in-law Joshua Goliber. Grandchildren Kyle Landry (12) Kiernan Goliber (5) and Mark Goliber (3). Brothers Lawrence Landry, Michael Landry, David Landry, and sister Anne. Many nieces and nephews and close friends that were very important to him and others.

Despite all his health issues Warren always kept a positive outlook. He would often say “Every day is a gift.” He was special to many people and will be missed tremendously.
