Sheryl Ann “Sherry”, a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend, passed away unexpectedly on January 17,2025. Born on September 12, 1956, in Springfield, Massachusetts. She was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School in Springfield, MA. Sheryl was a vibrant spirit who touched the lives of everyone she met.

 Sheryl was a dedicated dietary aide and cook, She was not happy unless she was feeding people! She loved to feed family, friends and worked at many different places from daycares, military dining facilities, all the way to rehabilitation centers. 

Outside the kitchen, Sheryl was known for her infectious laughter and warm heart. She loved crafting, often sharing the fruits of her labor with neighbors and friends. Her home was a gathering place for family and friends, where she hosted countless holiday celebrations and Sunday dinners. Sheryl had a heart for making everyone feel welcome, and her famous mini cheesecakes became a favorite at every family gathering.

 Sheryl is survived by her Husband Maurice Champagne, Daughter Lauren Lepage and husband Jeffrey, two sons Matthew Sliwa and wife Melissa, Damien Tetreault, and two stepchildren Jillian and Jeremy Champagne. Eight cherished grandchildren Joshua, Taylor, Hannah, Chance, Jackson, Kinsley, Weston, Julian and great granddaughter Kennedi. Who were the lights of her life. She is also survived by her brother , Bruce and wife Rosanne, her sister in law Nancy, three nieces Kristina, Tia, Maria, nephew Shaine, and many dear friends who will miss her dearly.

She will be joining her parents as well as her brother Mark in spirit, embracing her next chapter with the same tenacity and enthusiasm that she embraced in life. 

A celebration of Sheryl’s life will be held in May, Date time and location will be posted at a later time. 

Sheryl will be remembered for her boundless love, her generous spirit, and her unwavering belief in the potential of every individual. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness that will continue to inspire those who knew her. Rest in peace, dear Sheryl; you will be forever in our hearts.
