Shawn Patrick Clifford

SPENCER: Shawn Patrick Clifford, 37, passed away at home on Saturday, July 30, 2022.  Shawn was the son of Wayne P. Clifford of Barre and Deborah E. Clifford of Spencer; brother to Andrew P. Clifford of Duneden, FL; and is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Shawn was a graduate of David Prouty High School in Spencer, he was a gifted athlete and acceled at playing all sports together with his brother.  He was a very outgoing person who was ready to help family and friends at any time.  He worked in the construction trade for many years as a carpenter and he was a gifted mechanic and “handyman” that could fix anything.

Shawn was a talented snowboarder and it was snowboarding that brought him his greatest joy in life.  He spent many winters teaching and sharing his skills to many young snowboarders.  You could see a real sparkle in his eyes and excitement in his voice when he talked about sharing the sport with the kids.  We are sure he’ll be fine tuning some young snowboarders board somewhere!

Shawn will be missed by all those who knew him.  God Bless you Shawn.  Everyone please take comfort knowing that he is at peace.
