Ruth-Ann (Herbert) Manozzi, 74, of Worcester, MA, a dedicated and compassionate individual who worked for many years in office management, customer service and lastly in patient registration at Framingham Union Hospital has passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her adoring family on December 4, 2023. She was born July 18, 1949, in Somerville, MA.
Ruth-Ann had an eventful life filled with love, laughter, and a strong sense of community. She lived in many places including Arizona, Germany, Lynn, and Framingham while her husband served in the military. Throughout her life’s journey, Ruth-Ann embraced every opportunity to create meaningful connections with others.
One of Ruth-Ann’s greatest joys was spending time with her family, particularly her children and grandchildren.
Ruth-Ann is survived by her daughter Jennifer Rivers and fiance, Scott Reed. She leaves behind two sons. Eric, his wife Kate and their three girls and Danny. She also leaves behind two brothers and a sister, Althea Nason, Mario Nason and Julio Nason. She shared a deep bond with her grandchildren: Anthony, Vivica and her partner Jordan, Ty and his partner Raquel, Lincoln, Dominique, Jonathan and Yani (adopted step-granddaughter). Ruth-Ann cherished their presence in her life and created countless memories that will be treasured forever.
Aside from being a devoted family woman, Ruth-Ann had several hobbies and interests that brought her immense joy. She had a passion for watching movies – especially indie movies, Japanese films, and horror movies – which allowed her to explore different cultures through the lens of cinema. In quieter moments, she found solace in reading and crocheting where she poured her heart into creating beautiful pieces. Ruth-Ann also adored animals and shared a special connection with them throughout her life.
Ruth-Ann will always be remembered for the love she exuded toward others. Her warm spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She possessed an unwavering dedication to patient care during her time at Framingham Union Hospital which earned the respect and admiration of all her former coworkers. They will forever remember Ruth-Ann’s kind and compassionate nature.
Ruth-Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Althea Herbert, Damiano Nason (brother) and Cheryl Nason (sister).
In honor of Ruth-Ann Manozzi’s life and legacy, a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Her absence will be deeply felt, but the impact she had on those who knew her will continue to inspire and uplift them for years to come.
