Robin Jean Latendress

Robin Jean Latendress, lovingly known as Rara, was born on May 11, 1964, in Worcester, Massachusetts, and passed away on November 13, 2024, at Umass Memorial Medical Center. She was a remarkable woman whose legacy is woven into the hearts of her family and friends.

Robin was an amazing and loving individual who thrived in the presence of her cherished loved ones. She was truly the backbone of her family, always prioritizing the needs of others before her own. Her generous spirit and willingness to care for those around her were evident in everything she did. Whether it was braiding hair, cooking, or simply spending quality time outdoors, Robin embraced life with a warm heart and an open mind.

Robin is survived by her sons Justen Latendress and Adrian Johnson, and her beloved grandsons Jayden, Justen Jr., Arlito, and William, along with granddaughters Jaydaliz and Jayliani. She also leaves behind her goddaughters Sharinda, Karina, and Jasmine, who held a special place in her heart. Yuby, the mother of three of her grandchildren, was also a cherished part of her life. In addition, Robin is survived by her sister Irene Latendress, her brother Donald Latendress, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles who will miss her dearly.

Her family members fondly recall the special memories they shared with her. Sharinda remembers the intimate moments of braiding her hair and doing her nails, while Yuby expresses her gratitude for having the best grandmother anyone could have. Irene recalls the joy of learning how to roller skate and ride a bike under Robin's caring guidance. Sandy reminisces about the adventurous day they took off to Boston in the middle of the night, returning to discover their parents waiting for them with a mix of love and worry.

Robin was preceded in death by her beloved mother Anna Latendress, father Edward Latendress, and brothers Joseph and Thomas Latendress, as well as her sisters Carrie Toupense and Laurie Stokes. Their spirits will now be united with hers, and she will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

In every person's life, there are those who leave indelible marks, and for many, Robin Jean Latendress was that person. Her laughter, her love for family and friends, and her adventurous spirit will forever echo in the memories of those who had the privilege of knowing her. As we remember Rara, we celebrate a life full of love, warmth, and unforgettable moments that will carry on through her loved ones.
