Robert Benharbone, beloved husband, stepfather, brother, and friend, passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 81 after a courageous battle with dementia.
Born on June 25, 1942, in Casablanca, Morocco, Robert led a rich and varied life. He pursued knowledge avidly, earning an Associate Degree and delving into a variety of professions. He worked as an airplane machinist, contributing to the iconic Concorde in Toulouse, France. Later, he explored his passion for dance as a Flamenco Dancer, showcased his appreciation for art as an Art Gallery Owner, and embraced mediation as a path to resolution. He also loved to drive people through his taxi company.
Robert was not only dedicated to his work but also to his family. He shared his life with his beloved spouse, Patricia Warr, and stepchildren, Dominic Warr, Sharon Ott, and Karl Iglesias. His memory will also be cherished by his brothers, Maurice and David Benharbone, and sister, Denise Sternhuss, who live abroad.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Robert found joy in simple pleasures. He was an avid learner, he loved to read and enjoyed listening to jazz and classical music, and focused on DIY renovating projects around the house, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship and creativity.
Robert was preceded in death by his father Jacob Benharbone, mother Ouali Touizer, and brothers Michel and Marc Benharbone.
Robert’s warm smile, courageous spirit, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
