Nancy Ann Long

Nancy Ann Long, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2025, just days shy of her 53rd birthday. Born on February 11, 1972, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Nancy brightened the lives of many with her caring and giving nature.

She is remembered as a deeply caring and generous person who centered her life around her family. Nancy's greatest joy was found in nurturing her relationships, particularly with her son, Jeremiah; if he was happy, she was happy. This unwavering love for her family defined her existence and brought immense fulfillment to her life.

Nancy enjoyed being a wife and mom, always recreating a loving home for them to enjoy. Her family was undoubtedly her proudest accomplishment, which she cherished deeply. 

Those who knew Nancy will remember her for her love of shopping online, her enjoyment of movies, and binge-watching series on Netflix and similar platforms. She also treasured the valuable conversations she shared on the phone with her mother, Mary Ann, her brothers—Joseph, Victor Jr., Ronnie, and Joel—as well as her mother-in-law Linda Thomas and her cousin Henrietta (Pinkie) Jacquez. These moments were essential to her heart and reflected the close-knit family bonds she nurtured throughout her life.

Nancy is survived by her loving spouse, Calvin Long, her son, Jeremiah, and her stepchildren, Anthony, Kari, and Calvin (Boo). She leaves behind a vast family network, including her mother, Mary Ann Garcia, her brothers, Joseph Garcia (Judith),Victor Jr. Garcia (Lena), Ronnie Garcia(Jessica), and Joel Garcia(Lucinda), along with countless relatives, including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom adored her deeply.

Nancy joins in eternal rest her father, Victor Garcia, who preceded her in death. Her spirit, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family will always be remembered. Nancy's legacy of love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
