Madeline “Taty” Malave Rios

Madeline “Taty” Malave Rios, 48 of Worcester, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, after a brief illness. She is reunited in heaven with her late husband, Efrain Pino Lamourt, who predeceased her on August 11, 2022.

Taty was born on July 29, 1975, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, a daughter of Maria Rios and the late Julio Malave. She spent her early childhood in Puerto Rico before moving to Worcester with her family in 1985. She attended Burncoat High School and later studied at Grafton Job Corps. 

Taty was a kind and humble person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and listening to music. She was the life of a party with her great personality and infectious sense of humor. Taty will be missed dearly by everyone that knew her.

Taty leaves behind many heartbroken survivors including her mother, Maria Rios of Worcester; two sisters, Marisol Malave and Nancy Cuba, both of Worcester; her aunt, Olga Concepcion and her husband Junior Pacheco of Puerto Rico; her nieces and nephews, Carlos Davila, Tanicha Torres, Sol Valentin, Kiara Lopez and Luis Valentin and many close friends who she loved like family also. 

Services will be held privately at a later date. Comfort Cremation is honored to be assisting with her arrangements.
