Luis Angel Sabater

Luis Angel Sabater, 52, of Worcester, MA, passed away on August 3, 2024, in Worcester, MA. He was born on March 6, 1972, in Chicago, IL, a son of Maria Rivera and the late, Manuel "Junior" Sabater. He was raised in Ponce PR.

Luis had a passion for sports, particularly boxing and basketball, which brought him joy throughout his life. His hard work and commitment were evident in his career as a constructioner, where he made a lasting impact with his dedication and strong work ethic.

At the time of passing, Luis was surrounded by his loving family after a period of declining health. His memory will forever be cherished by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Luis is survived by his beloved mother, Maria Rivera; his children Lizbeth Sabater of Chicago, IL, Luis Angel Sabater of Florida, and Yesenia Sabater of Pennsylvania; his brother Manuel "Pito" Sabater of Ponce, PR; his sister Yesenia Torres and her husband Eddie of Worcester; another sister Jamilly Sabater of Ponce P.R his 6 grandchildren, Angelix, Yaxiel, Yetzaell, Jayden, Janiyah, and Nate ; as well as several other relatives and close friends including Linette Vazquez, who was like a sister to him.

He also leaves behind his nephews, Edian Torres and Yeddie Torres; his cousin Teofilo Rivera; his best friend Jefferey Giraldo and, Myriam Giraldo she is a very special person for him; The love of his life.In addition to them, Luis leaves behind the memories shared with his close friends, Ani Ramos and Yahveh Lopez. He was predeceased by his father, Manuel "Junior" Sabater.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on August 10, 2024, at Comfort Cremation, 1027 Main St, Worcester, MA. The event will begin at 3:00 PM to commemorate a life well-lived and to honor the legacy that Luis Angel Sabater has left behind. May he rest in peace.
