Lourdes Amaro Torres

Lourdes Amaro Torres, affectionately known as Lulu, passed away on November 20, 2024, in Worcester, Massachusetts. Born on May 9, 1979, in Caguas Puerto Rico, she brought joy and warmth to the lives of many throughout her journey.

Lulu was known for her kind and welcoming nature, always making those around her feel at ease. Her laughter and great sense of humor endeared her to family and friends alike. She had a big heart and was always ready to lend a helping hand, showcasing her caring spirit by putting others' needs before her own. Holidays were particularly special times for her, as she cherished these moments spent with her beloved family, often preparing her famous king crab salad, which became a staple on every occasion.

Lulu is survived by her brothers and sisters: Angel Luis Amaro Bermudez, Olga Amaro Bermudez, Rafael Amaro Bermudez, Felix A. Amaro Bermudez, Yanira Amaro Torres, Evelyn Amaro Torres, Victor M Amaro, and Ursula Amaro.

She was preceded in death by her father, Angel Luis Amaro Ortiz, and her mother, Gladys Torres Santiago. The legacy of kindness and warmth that Lulu leaves behind will continue to live in the hearts of her family and all those fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed.
