Linda Mary (Painchaud) Dunphe

Linda Mary (Painchaud) Dunphe, 74 of Spencer, MA, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025, at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, with her beloved husband of 31 years, Samuel D. Dunphe, by her side. 

Linda was born on August 24, 1950, in Worcester, Massachusetts. She was a cherished member of her community and spent many years dedicated to her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital. Her compassion and care for others defined her both personally and professionally.

Raised in Worcester, Linda was a proud graduate of South High School. Throughout her life, she remained deeply connected to her roots in her hometown. Known for her happy demeanor, she touched the lives of those around her with her caring and generous spirit.

An avid music lover, Linda had a particular fondness for the tunes of the 1960s and 70s.  Linda found great peace and joy in spending her time at her home. She enjoyed engaging with her friends online, often sharing laughter and conversation from the comfort of her home. Linda's warmth and friendliness created an inviting atmosphere wherever she went.

Linda shared a devoted marriage of 31 years with her beloved husband, who stood by her side during her final moments. She is survived by her loving siblings, Richard Painchaud Grace Painchaud and Emil Painchaud, Jr. Linda was preceded in death by her son, Roy Oliver Mason, and her parents, Emil and Arline (Donabedian) Painchaud.

Her legacy of kindness, love, and dedication to family will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A visitation to celebrate Linda's life will take place on January 24, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Comfort Cremation, located at 1027 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01603.

Linda Mary (Painchaud) Dunphe will be dearly missed, and her memory will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.
