Jose Miguel Felix Camacho, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and, passed away peacefully at home on September 20, 2024, surrounded by love. Born on March 20, 1967 in Corozal, Puerto Rico, Miguel lived a vibrant life full of joy, laughter, and cherished memories.
For many years, Miguel dedicated his career to the aviation industry, working at Luis Muñoz Marín Airport in Puerto Rico and later at Orlando International Airport. His most significant professional chapter began in 1997 at Chase Walton, which would ultimately become Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, where he focused on manufacturing airplane parts. Miguel's passion for airplanes was evident in both his career and personal interests, reflecting his deep appreciation for flight and travel.
Known as a family man, Miguel took immense pride in being a devoted father to his children, Kendra M. Felix, Naomi M. Felix, Joseph M. Felix, and Joshue M. Felix. His love for them was immeasurable and his proudest accomplishment was always being a dad. Miguel's warm-hearted personality shone through in every interaction; he was social, humble, and kind, making everyone feel welcomed and valued. His infectious sense of humor brought joy to those around him, and his kindness knew no bounds. Miguel was truly an amazing soul who left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
In addition to his professional achievements, Miguel was a passionate cook, often delighting his family with his culinary talents. His other hobbies included traveling, fishing, car detailing, and riding bicycles. Each of these pursuits brought him joy and allowed him to create memories with those he loved.
Miguel's journey took a difficult turn when he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in March 2023. Despite the challenges he faced, he remained a source of strength for his family, embodying resilience and grace.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kate Felix Vazquez; his cherished children, Kendra, Naomi, Joseph, and Joshue; his fur daughter Alaia or how he would call by Ayala; his mother, Winda Camacho; stepfather, Jose Luis Camacho; and his sisters, Luz Z. Rosado, Roselyn Felix, and Asline Felix. Miguel was predeceased by his father, Marcelino Félix; his grandmother, Petra Pérez; his grandfather, Dolores Camacho, uncles, aunts and cousins, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-laws, brother-in-law and godchildren.
Miguel leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and laughter that will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. His spirit will always be a guiding light for his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed.
