Jennifer Marie Leone

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jennifer Marie Leone, who departed this life peacefully on February 4, 2025, at UMass Medical Center University Campus, surrounded by her loved ones. Jennifer was born on March 6, 1971, in Worcester, MA. She was raised in Worcester and graduated from Shrewsbury High School, Class of 1989.

Jennifer dedicated many years of her life to her professional pursuits. She also worked for New England Telephone. Additionally, she was employed at Perreault Nursery & Landscape Supply and spent many enjoyable years as a bartender in her local community until her diagnosis with cancer affected her ability to work.

An individual of remarkable character, Jennifer was known for her intelligence, introverted nature, and selfless generosity. Her vibrant personality brought joy to those around her, and she was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. She cherished companionship and held dear the moments spent with her family, which included her love for cooking, playing with children, and enjoying time outdoors, particularly at the beach or in the excitement of the casino.

Jennifer's legacy will be carried on by her beloved family: her sons, Jonathan Leone and his partner Bridgitta, and Zachary Leone and his wife Elizabeth; her granddaughter, Sophia Frances Leone; her beloved companion, Robert F. Snape; her former spouse, Kevin Leone; her brother, Stephen Goodrich and his wife Shelly; and her sisters, Diana Leary and Duncan Laurel Staiger and her husband Ron Caruso.

Jennifer joins her deceased family members in eternal rest, including her cherished mother, Jacquelyn A. (Coone) Sneade, and her father, Walter R. Smith.

A Celebration of Life in Jennifer’s honor will be held on February 25, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Britton Wallace Funeral Home located at 91 Central St, Auburn, MA 01501. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate her life and the memories shared.

Her interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery, where loved ones can pay their respects on February 26, 2025, beginning at 9:30 AM,.

Jennifer Marie Leone will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
