Jennifer Lamptey

Jennifer Lamptey 48, of Worcester, passed away on January 1, 2024, at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, after a period of declining health.

Jennifer Lamptey was born in Accra, Ghana, in the year 1975. She attended primary and high school at Osu Presbyterian and came out with flying colors. She migrated to the US in 1998.

She attended Quinsigamond Community College pursuing a nursing program while working at the Jewish Home.

Throughout her life’s journey Jennifers faith in God remained steadfast like a guiding light in the darkness. She found comfort and strength in the reassuring words of scripture, trusting in the Lord’s providence and care. As illness cast its shadow, Jennifer’s spirit remained unbroken. Despite her weakening body, her love for God remained unwavering. She drew strength from their bond, finding solace in the assurance that God would always be by her side.

Jennifer was not only a woman of faith but also a loving and devoted mother to her son, Jordan. She poured out her heart and soul into nurturing and guiding him, instilling in him the values of kindness, resilience, and faith that she held dear.

Today as we gather to bid farewell to Jennifer Lamptey, we take comfort in the knowledge that she’s at peace in the loving and grace of her savior. Though she may no longer walk amongst us, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

May our sister, daughter and mother rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord.
