Janice Lee (Aubin) Richford

Janice Lee Richford, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, departed this world peacefully on January 25, 2025, in Millbury, Massachusetts, with her loving husband, Raymond Eugene Richford III, by her side. Born on April 13, 1955, in Linz, Austria, Janice's journey through life was marked by an abundance of love and cherished connections.

Janice was a woman of remarkable kindness and a heart that overflowed with love for her family. She graduated from Millbury High School and furthered her education at the Salter Secretarial School at Worcester State College. Her professional journey led her to work at Shields MRI, where she shared many joyful moments with her best friend, Doreen, creating a bond that is rare and precious.

A passionate cook, Janice found joy in the kitchen, whipping up delightful meals while maintaining a comical aversion to vegetables.

In addition to her culinary talents, Janice was an ardent lover of the handwritten word. She surrounded herself with stylish stationery and vibrant pens, crafting notes and letters that brought smiles to the faces of her family and friends. Her creativity extended beyond words, resonating in her acts of love and caring for numerous pets throughout her life.

Janice is survived by her two sons, Jared (Lindsay) Aubin and Justin Aubin. She is also survived by her step-daughter Cheryl (Michael) Flaherty, brother Gerald Aubin, sister Linda (Ronald) Rana, and her cherished niece, Dina (Jeff) Watson. Janice's legacy lives on through her five grandchildren, Jamie, Casey, Joshua, Drew, and Madison, who were the light of her life.

She was predeceased by her parents, Gerald Aubin, a decorated United States Soldier, and Leah (Sachs) Aubin, who instilled in her the values of kindness and compassion that she so generously shared with others.
