James Mark Tormey

James Mark Tormey,( Jimmy), joined his loving family in Heaven on March 22,2025. James is predeceased by his brothers: Brian, Steven  and William. He is predeceased by his parents Ronald and Catherine ( Brosnihan) Tormey..

Jimmy  was born and grew up on Broad View Terrace in Hartford CT. Jimmy was part of the ORIGINAL " BVT GANG." A wonderful and happy childhood led Jimmy on an interesting  life journey. He was a  Caddy at Sankaty Head Golf Club on Nantucket  during high school years,  which resulted in ensuing  shananigans ,since his brothers were under his charge !! He was Captain of South Catholic H.S.Football team during his years there.

Jimmy has been a baker, working in Worcester bakeries for  years, He was a  chef at First 'n Last in Hartford CT. Jimmy was a landscaper,always there to support his brothers work. Jimmy  was a Real Estate Agent in CT  early in his career. 

Jimmy was a member of St John's Parish, Worcester MA. He was a member of The Knight's  of Columbus,4th degree Member of  A.O.H , Temple St, Worcester MA. His Irish and Canadian  heritage was always a source of pride and never missed a  St. Patrick's Day Parade!

Jimmy leave his sister: Mary E. Tormey, Essex CT. His brother, Gregory and his wife,Janet, Worcester. His sister-in-law Gail Tormey, His nephew,Zach Tormey and his wife, Cloud, Atlanta GA.His cousins, The Trainors and all his cousins and friends.

Jimmy was a soft and gentle soul.His infectious laugh  and his wry and sharp sense of humor will be sorely missed  for the rest of our years. Jimmy had a special light which he shared with the world. .May God hold him close until we are all together again.
