James Louis Mandeville, affectionately known as Jimmy, was born on January 11, 1967, in Brockton, Massachusetts. He peacefully passed away on February 11, 2025, in Springfield, Massachusetts, surrounded by his loving wife and children, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of love, dedication, and strength.
Jimmy's devotion to the medical field was profound, having served as an EMT since 1990. His selfless commitment carried him through multiple districts, where he skillfully helped those in need. After years of dedicated service, he retired to Florida, bringing with him a passion for helping others and an unwavering sense of duty.
Above all else, Jimmy was a loyal, kind, and compassionate husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He reveled in the joys of his family, filling their lives with warmth and laughter. A true family man, he showed immense pride in his beautiful wife, Lisa McCann, and cherished the achievements of his daughters Kayla, Alexandra, and Victoria, alongside his son Cody. He beamed with joy at the accomplishments of his grandchildren: Callen, Ella, Harper, Isabella, Luciano, Mila, and Macie. Jimmy had a special knack for bringing his loved ones together, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with love and laughter whenever they gathered.
Cooking was another beloved passion in Jimmy's life. His kitchen became a haven where he created new recipes, bridging connections with his loved ones through their favorite meals. His love language shone brightly as he filled their bellies with good food and sought out ways to make them laugh. Those memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Jimmy's character was steadfast and nurturing. He is also survived by his father Larry Mandeville, his brothers Christopher Mandeville, Nathan Mandeville and his sister Audrey Mandeville. He held many dear lifelong friendships, as well as bonds with many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
Although he grieves the loss of his beloved grandparents, Frank and Audrey Mayo, and his mother, Diane Mayo, Jimmy leaves behind an enduring familial spirit that will continue to inspire.
A celebration of life and remembrance will take place at the Rockland Golf Course, 276 Plain St Rt139 Rockland MA, on February 23, 2025, from 12 to 4 p.m. In this gathering of family and friends, we will honor Jimmy's incredible life, the love he shared, and the precious moments we cherished together.
