David John Senechal, a cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2024, in Fitchburg, MA, after bravely battling Glioblastoma brain cancer for two and a half years. Born on March 15, 1965, in Manchester, NH, David's journey through life was marked by his deep commitment to family, work, and his passion for the open road.

For 36 years, David dedicated himself to the trucking profession, navigating both over-the-road and local routes with diligence and care. His work ethic and reliability earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike. When he was not at the wheel of a big rig, David embraced his love for motorcycles, often found riding along scenic roads or spending time with his beloved dog, Bailey.

David was a devoted father to his son, Adam M. Senechal, and stepchildren Nicholas D. Souders, Sarah M. Souders, and Taryn E. Souders. He was a loving husband to Nicole M. (Larocque/Souders) Senechal and a caring son to his mother, Lorraine P. (Therrien) Senechal. The bonds he shared with his family were unbreakable, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments. He is also survived by his siblings, Roland A. Senechal Jr., Ronald Senechal, and Lisa Frisella, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who held him dear.

David will be remembered not only for his relentless spirit but also for his warm personality and generous heart. He found joy in helping others and was known for brightening the lives of those around him. His love for life, particularly the moments spent with family and close friends, defined his character and will be cherished by all who knew him.

David was preceded in death by his father, Roland A. Senechal Sr., and his grandparents, who surely welcomed him with open arms. His legacy will live on in the memories and the love he instilled in his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
