Curt Andrew Kurzontkowski, 68, passed away peacefully, and surrounded by his family, at his home in Holliston on April 30, 2024, after a short battle with lung cancer. Curt was born in Framingham, MA, to Andrew Walter Kurzontkowski and Mildred Helen (Bradanick) Kurzontkowski.
Curt was an amazing man who touched the life of so many with his stories and "life advice". He was always quick with a joke or witty anecdote and he could strike up a conversation with anyone. Any room he walked into was lit by his presence, as he conquered life with a sense of humor so authentically original (and occasionally outlandish) in all the best ways. He was proud of having over 40 years of alcohol sobriety thanks to time in AA. His life culminated with "life is good" being the mantra of his final days.
Curt leaves behind his beloved wife Sharran (Wallace) Kurzontkowski, his sons Andy, Sam "Burger" and Dillon Kurzontkowski, his additional kids Caitlin, Michael, Andrew, and Mark Fantegrossi, his cherished granddaughters Ella and Hannah, and his sister, Cynthia Scesny.
A celebration of Curt's life will be held at a later date to honor the legacy of a man who brought laughter and joy to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
