Christine (Chrissy) E. Albin, a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother ,auntie and beloved sister, passed away peacefully at her home in Shrewsbury, MA, on April 20, 2024. She was surrounded by her family and friends who meant the world to her. 

Born in Worcester, MA, on November 1, 1957, Chrissy was a beacon of love and warmth to all who crossed her path. Known for her exceptional cooking skills - particularly her homemade meatballs - she brought joy to many through her delicious creations.

Christine dedicated many years of her life as a Home Life Advocater at Catholic Charities, where she touched numerous lives with her compassion and generosity. Her nurturing and welcoming personality made everyone feel at ease in her presence. Chrissy had unconditional love for her family and friends with open arms and doors.

Her love for the ocean and beach outings was only matched by her enthusiasm for hosting gatherings and cookouts for family and friends. Holidays held a special place in Chrissy's heart as she delighted in all the festivities and traditions. She found light on her darkest days in her grand children and great grand children. Chrissy spent almost everyday with the "boys "and her “girls” and “her” babies, laughing and spending quality time. Chrissy spent her evenings having tea time with her husband, followed by a classic movie.

In addition to leaving behind a legacy of kindness and love, Christine is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 50 years, Kurt J. Albin; her son Jeffrey J. Albin; her daughter Melissa B. Albin and soon-to-be son-in-law James M Rennie; her granddaughter Alyssa C. Brescia and husband Alec M. Brescia; her granddaughter Hannah S. Parke; her great grandchildren Hunter M. Brescia, Isabella C. Brescia and Ivy M. Brescia; Her living siblings, sister Donna Simarano and her husband John; her brothers Michael Benoit  and his wife (Ginny); Daniel Benoit and his wife(Amy); her sister-in-law Patricia Collins; sister-in-law Lynn Doughty Benoit; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; she is predeceased by her mother Patricia Benoit and father Joseph Benoit; her sister Denise Benoit; her brother Mark Benoit; her brother Timothy Benoit; her brother James Benoit; her brother Joseph Benoit; her brother John (Connie) Benoit; her two nephews Mathew Benoit and Christopher Bosowski.

Chrissy’s life was a testament to love, kindness, and the beauty of sharing laughter with those she held dear. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace while her memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved her dearly.
