Alice P. Suprenant, lovingly known as Tootsie, peacefully departed this world on January 14, 2025, following a short but brave battle with cancer. Born on January 16, 1942, in the town of Ware, Massachusetts, Alice was the cherished daughter of the late Hugh and Geneva Hubbard.
Alice's life was a tapestry woven from moments of joy, resilience, and love. She carried her nickname, Tootsie, with pride, embodying the warmth and kindness that endeared her to everyone who crossed her path. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in South Hadley Ma. She cherished her moments with her 3 pups loving them unconditionally Luci, Bella, and Gem.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, James, and her sons, Rene and Phil Suprenant, Alice, is at peace with her husband and boys, she cherished the bonds she formed with her family. Her love for her granddaughter, Sara Lazarz, and her significant other, Michael, who were sources of immense pride and joy for Alice in her final months of life, The laughter and love of her great-granddaughters, Aly, Madi, and April as well as her great-grandsons, Hunter and JJ, filled her heart with happiness. Furthermore, the newest addition to the family, her great-great-grandson, Jasper, brought her infinite delight She shared a very special bond especially with Aly, as Aly looked after her meme up until the final days of her life. That meant a lot to the both of them creating a very special bond.
Among those who held a special place in her heart was her cousin and best friend, John Weigel, they shared many laughs and special times making memories to carry on with him. Alice’s family tree is adorned with many more relatives, each of whom will carry her in their hearts.
As we reflect on the beautiful life she lived, we remember her unwavering strength, support and the countless memories forged over the years. Alice will be deeply missed by her family. May her soul find peace, as she is embraced by those she loved and lost before her, in a heavenly reunion that will echo with love for eternity.
