Turners Falls, Albert R Wills of Fairway Ave passed away April 5th, 2024, at Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility in Greenfield.
He was born April 19th, 1938, in Pelham Massachusetts the son of the late Richard Wills and Rosemond (Burrows) Wills of Pelham. He is pre-deceased by his wife Jeanne Wills, and leaves behind a daughter Tammy Aiken and husband John of Turners falls, 3 sons - Michael and wife Deborah of Erving, Peter and his life partner Pam of Erving, Paul and his wife Judy of Osterville Mass, 3 sisters - Helen Foss and her family of Maine, Susan Williams and her family of Maine, and Belinda Barrus of Springfield Ma, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
Albert graduated from Smith Vocational school in 1957 and began a career in the sheet metal trades. Later in life he became an educator at the Franklin County Technical School in Turners Falls teaching welding and metal fabrication until retirement. He was a long-standing member of the Polish Club in South Deerfield. Some of Albert's favorite past times were collecting carnival glass and fabricating copper lamps. He enjoyed fishing trips to the Quabbin reservoir, time spent at the casino with his son, and completing the daily crossword puzzle.
