October 23, 1981 — April 11, 2023

Dwayne Michael Thompson, 41, of Worcester , MA, was called home to Heaven unexpectedly, on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. 

Dwayne is survived by his loving parents, Leon G. and Claudette Y. (Davis) Thompson of Virginia Beach, VA; his mother of his two children  , Delmy Ciciliane of Worcester, MA; his daughter, Dannaleea D. Thompson; his son, De’Yonnie J. Thompson both of Worcester, MA; 4 siblings, Andrea Thompson of Brooklyn, NY, Dwight Thompson, Sr. of Jamaica; Christine Thompson and Sheryl Thompson, both of Virginia Beach, VA; a special Auntie, Beverly Bennett; his nieces and nephews, Dominique Thompson, Devin Thompson, DeAndre Thompson, Dyanqua Thompson, Nicky Mckenzie, Shabourne Mckenzie, Dwight Thompson, Jr. and Alyssa Thompson. He also leaves behind his best friends Quinnan Brown, Wendy Cattron and many other close friends, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Dwayne was born on October 23, 1981, in Kingston, Jamaica and shortly after immigrated to Virginia Beach, VA with his parents and siblings when he was only three years old. He was raised in Virginia Beach where he graduated from High School. He has resided in Worcester for the past 17 years. 

Dwayne was an athletic person and enjoyed playing several sports including soccer, football and basketball. He also loved music and nice cars. He had a keen sense of fashion and stayed wearing the latest trends of shoes and clothing. He had a great sense of humor and kept those around him entertained with his silly and goofy jokes. Most  of all he will be remembered for his big heart and generous spirit. He was always willing to help someone in need and would give the shirt off his own back to help another person. 

All are welcome to join Dwayne’s family for a period of visitation and remembrance from 4-6pm on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Comfort Cremation Inc, 1027 Main St., Worcester, MA.
